In this project, we create a visual MANIFESTO for our society.

We got Natalie at this point! 

Our manifesto is To keep valance in our society. Miriam could be an evil monster 

in a forest. In order to maintain peace in our world, we try to sacrifice our precious

belongings to her.

We made the second film. 

Chloe edited the film. Natalie made a book in the film and edited it. 

Miriam made our website.

Ipe did lino printing for DVD design.

Nadia, Yono and me made package of DVD.

I drew the characters.

I formed a social group with Chloe, Miriam, Nadia, Ipe and Yono. 

We discussed about our basic needs and functions each of us. 

Yono is a traveler and lost her way in the forest where the other five live. 

Our function is how we MEET.

We went to a forest near Ipe's house in Finsbury Park to shoot our film.

We wanted to do it there because we creatures are located in a forest.

We took approximately 1,000 photographs for the film.

My Costume is Done!

I considered how to form a shape of the costume as a COCOON.

At first, it seemed to be nice using wire with fabric in order to make round shape covering my body. But it shouldn't keep the shape longer if I wear it. Then I decided to get a cheap sleeping bag instead of that. I sewed fabric with the sleeping bag. It has four zippers that help hands and foot to come out when I move. They are also decorated with JAPANESE RICE (actually cotton buds). During sleep, I hang myself on a tree with a hand on its back. A MUSHROOM-hat is made by a bowl and vinyl. It works as an UMBRELLA. As a reason of discovery new world or protection eyes, I wear SWIMMING GOGGLE.

Using the 'primary needs' as a basis, I designed a 'Cocoon Suit'.

Firstly, I chose 5 objects out of 100 for my primary needs; cocoon, umbrella, mushroom, swimming goggle and Japanese rice. 

Basically, I need something to protect myself from cold and danger. So I considered using 

cocoon shape for covering whole my body.

That project is based on a development from the Personal Universe. 

We are meant to make, gather imagery what we need to do. 

I just focused  physical object I use in daily life. 

I made a list of My Needs which contained over 100 objects.
